It was nice to see some real rock on the X Factor. A welcome change. Your performances blew me away. It is perhaps better that you sign either to a rock label or one that can give you time and direction according to your musical style. Look at Chris Daughtry (American Idol) He went on to record a hugely successful rock album and Slash featured on one his tracks - what I want. I think it is much better that Ruth is not under Simon as he wouldn't do her justice. His mentor ship would probably take Ruth in a pop power ballad direction with may be a hint of rock. For a debut it wouldn't be quite right. I see an album of ballads later in her career by way of a compilation album with both original and cover songs, sung in English and Spanish. The point is Ruth is far too diverse for Simon Cowell's label. I hope the rock world has woken up and made you an offer and I certainly look forward to your debut album with more up-tempo rockin' songs (e.g. I love rock n' roll) and with perhaps three softer rock songs (e.g. knockin' on heavens door, Always).

I have been routing for you since the auditions and I have been voting for you every week....seriously I bought £25 phone credit every week and used the lot to keep you in each week! Ruth, just remember, the best don't always win, but that does not make them losers! The final should have been between you and Alexandra, but of course the producers couldn't have that.
Eoghan and Diana should have been dropped weeks ago. It's supposed to be a singing contest, not a 'Britain's Got Talent' show which is now what it's developing into with these two. You've got a future ahead of you and no mistake. You must keep performing/recording. You could be a superstar. You're so lovely, we'll miss you from now on. Merry Christmas!

I can't believe you're gone from the X-Factor. You were by far the best on Saturday night. I must have voted for you at least 50 times every week. Been a big supporter of yours since your first audition and hoped you would do well, and you've done better than I ever expected :).

I hope this isn't the last we see of you in the UK, and I hope a record executive somewhere is reading every message here. Also just read where you say that you thought you were "fat" and "ugly"...trust me...you're aren't!!! You're one of the most beautiful women i've ever seen! Hopefully I can meet you someday :).

Hola Ruth, my name is Wayne, im 29 and i live in South Wales. I was sorry to see you leave x-factor on saturday, i have watched x-factor and pop idol since it first started years ago and this was the first time i felt genuinely upset to see someone eliminated. Because you sing with such deep, strong emotion from your heart i feel a connection with you and you really stir my own emotions. For me, the reason i love music is because it has the power to change my mood and emotions, and translate my feelings into words and sounds. I think you do this better than anyone i have ever heard, you sing with such passion and it's easy to see you love and truely understand the music you sing. If i could design the perfect singer she would look, sound and be just like you. It's very good to see you are modest and not big headed but please don't let this stop you from promoting yourself because you have the talent to back it up and you deserve all the success in the world. You must have huge support in Spain but i hope you don't just go back there and not sing here in the UK again, im sure we can share you :-) I hope so much this isn't the last we'll see of you here and you can release an english album and tour, i would love that. I wish you so much luck Ruth with everything you do, you are such a lovely person who deserved to win the x-factor bye a million miles. I am glad to see you getting loads of support here as everyone is right. You were in the top two foe me and the final should have been you and Alexandra. I am a professional musician and producer and i know talent when i hear it and you could sing any of them off the stage, not only in your incredible voice, but in your passion. You clearly feel the song and live every moment of it and it was great to see that passion, grit and determination in a singer. Its something that seriously lacks in many of the so called pro singers out there.

Hope to hear you again very soon and just rememember, despite the result on the show, you were in a different league to them.

Ruth was without doubt the most watchable contestant out of all of them and the one that has developed the most over the last 7 weeks. If Alex goes next week then I'm not going to bother watching. Diana, JCB and Eggnog just doesn't do it for me, sorry ! For talent, the final should have been Ruth and Alex. In fact they are both equally brilliant in the genres they are in, so both deserve a record contract. Good Luck for the future Ruth
