This is just typical of this kind of show X factor is supposed to be about talent, and all it is, is how many people you have to phone in and vote for you. i still want to see you make a name for yourself as I'm sure you will, it is a disaster now you are out of the show, but true talent will always shine through, and I look forward to buying your album very soon. Just wanted to wish you every success for the future. Sadly, it would seem that the true talent is being overlooked in favour of gimmicky nonsense being called originality (as evidenced by the choice of the winner's song) and I'm so sorry to see you go. Why yelping and invisible hand puppets are this popular I do not know! I'm sure Diana's very sweet, but she's like nails on a blackboard to me and I can't stand the girliness and yelping! Hope this doesn't offend, but I can't believe you went and she stayed. You were brilliant to watch every week and I was happy to vote for you. I hope Alex wins now you're gone (she's also amazing and initially was my favourite until your personality and talent really shone through - I was shouting at the telly for most of the series saying 'How can they say Ruth's not got the best voice in the competition?!!') and I hope that JLS drop Louis like a hot potato before people begin to get sick of the silly gimmicks (those colours...boring!). I really liked JLS til Louis got his claws into them but the branding is really putting me off them. They seemed so much better when they were doing their own thing!

I hope you do well and this isn't the last we hear of you! You going was a travesty - Laura deserved to go and I was glad you stayed in favour of her. She wasn't half as talented as everybody made out and like DIana her voice was so contrived. You sing naturally, beautifully, and from the heart and I hope to hear an album soon!

Ruth, Purple Rain was amazing - never heard anything anywhere near as good as your cover. you are so so sexy and have an amazing voice. you should have won, I think X-factor is all corrupt - especially with that little irish kid and diana (and the hand!) getting though!!
